Jerry, my friend, you hit on a lot of stuff here that I relate to. Growing up in the South, your word was your honor and it was good enough for a lot of things. And you could shoot people for being on the porch uninvited.

Seriously - there should always be room for trying to understand each other, but as you say, that type of discussion often devolves into who is right and why don&#039;t you understand me and how could you say that. We all have different perspectives, as you say, and we have to be aware of each other&#039;s viewpoints and sore spots.
